Duties during these periods varied from working on the shop floor as part of the sales assistant staff to eventually working as a supervisor over night.

Sales Assistant - Duties here included replenishing stock on shelves, assisting customers in their shopping needs, carrying out jobs assigned by a manager to the highest of quality.

Butcher Assistant - Duties here included serving customers at the counter, and replenishing fresh meat stocks. I was also assigned to manage the smooth running of the distribution of turkeys to pre registered customers during the Christmas period 2 years consecutively. This task included taking a regular count of turkeys, balancing sheets, constant updates for the store manager and also the area manager. Liaising with other counter staff to make sure they knew exactly how to work with the system in place. Constant replenishment of turkeys to the counter. 

Supervisor​ - Duties here included management of time, supervising and overseeing the progress of work being done by contractors, answering to any alarms or problems that occurred, doing a walk-through of the premises and making sure it was ready for the next day of business, this included replenishing stock, polishing the shop floor, tidying the delivery area and also the back store. walk through
